Ldap configuration

LDAP installation:

For apache ds installation for ldap follow steps mentioned in screen shot:

Browse and select JAVA installation directory which will get created once JAVA installation(Mentioned above) will get completed.

After installation check it in the start menu..

Just click the Apache Directory Studio

Right click on the server pane… 

Click the finish button.

Then following screen will be appeared.

Click the open Configuration

Click on the green button above shown then one popup will be appeared as shown above.Click on allow access button.

Step 1: click the partition tab. Then click the add buttonStep2: creating partion  Example:      enter following details  id=iton and suffix=(o=iton) we need to enter  .  And the save it(ctl+s).

After save we can find new partion  as shown above fig    (o=iton).
Setp3:after that we need to restart sever once (click red button to stop server and green for start server).

Import Data for LDAP usig LDIF file.
